I NEED A MANUAL FOR A XE-A110 U.S. VERSION. APPARENTLY THE MANUAL I HAVE NOW IS FOR UK VERSION AND NOW I HAVE SUCCEEDED IN SCREWING UP THE PROGRAM IN IT. ANY INFO TO CLEAR UP MY MISTAKE WOULD BE MOST HOPEFUL THANX.
Hi Mike, sorry for the delay. I do not have a manual for that model. However most of the XE models program the same or near the same. Since it is already messed up try using the XE-A101 found here

I have a XE-A101 registrer and need a replacement key for the drawer, do I need to replace the whole lock?
Hi William, no you do not need to replace the entire lock. All register locks of the same model (and many more) are all the same. So you need to find a new key. I do not have access to keys for the XE line for some reason. All the other Sharp parts I can get, but not XE models. If you have your manual I think there was an insert in it for parts. And I think the support line is 1-800-besharp. I know they are not much help, but worth a try. Sorry I could not be more help.

Hello, I have a Sharp ER-A460 brought to us from our sister store and need to program (change) the register receipt print out. The receipt shows our other store’s name and I wish to have OUR name on the receipt as well as updating the daye and time…can you help or refer me to where I can get this info. Thanks,bob

Ok to program the logo on the Sharp ER-A460 or the Sharp ER-A470 cash register is as follows.
Job code 2614 page # 70 of the manual.
Turn key to PGM 2
1 enter 2614
2 Press the Decimal
3 Press the @/For
4 Enter the Line number you will be programming (1 through 6)
5 Press the @/for
6 Enter your alpha codes for your message up to 24 digits For the codes turn to page 25 of the manual
7 After entering you codes press the Sub Total Button
8 Start at step 4 for the next line. Go to step 9 after entering all lines
9 Press Cash
10 Turn to Reg and try it out.
Tips, you will have to enter spaces to line up your wording.
This machine can have a header and footer. Lines 1 through 3 are header, 4 through 6 are the footer.

Here is a link to a page from Sharp with the a bunch of XE manuals. I think your machine is included. What you will want to do is turn off the tax status on your departments. Plus the book will tell you how to take reports and more programming

Hi Christina, I’m sorry I can’t help you with the XE model of cash registers. They are part os Sharp’s consumer line not the commercial line. I have been a sharp dealer for over 20 years and if I called them about help with that machine they would just laugh. Sharp makes great cash registers, but if you ever require help you can only get it with the commercial grade, not the XE line. Sorry but I do have this link for Sharp manuals

Hi Jerri, sorry for the delay. Yes I can order those inserts. However don’t yell at me for the price. The price for an insert is $79.00 plus shipping I don’t stock them and it would take a little while to get it.
Best advice don’t ever buy another XE model register. Buy a commercial grade machine with a model that starts with ER or UP

I have a Sharp XE-A101 cash register and the butttons will will not work, the ns/ca does not even work. It turns on the light comes on where the number display is but can not ring anyhting up.
Sorry Danyel, I have a few manuals posted for the XE model registers but we don’t support them! They are not part of the commercial cash register line from Sharp so we stay away from them. I suggest not buying another one. Sorry
