This is the rubber spool that drives the Journal Spool for the popular SAM4s ER-5200M series of cash registers

Often when your journal roll stops rolling up the paper the problem is this little rubber spool has worn out. This is very easy to replace, however before you order make sure the motor is good. You can tell if your motor is still working by pressing the Journal Feed button and looking at this spool or feeling it with your finger. What most often happens is the motor is still good but because this rubber spool has worn out the motor can no longer spin the take up spool. Replacing this small part often resolves the issue.
